Default Odd situation

I had started my own guild, mainly for sake of cape and easy storage access between mules without having to load other players each time.

Eventually, I joined a Factions alliance.

Now, I'm wanting to sever that alliance to Ally with a group of guilds led by a friend of mine.

How do I go about removing the Faction alliance from my guild so I can join my friend's alliance?

Press G, got to the alliance tab. And on the bottom it should say leave alliance if I remember correctly.

Aye, that it does. Unfortunately, the option is grayed out.

Perhaps I should smack myself for not being more specific - I am the only person in this guild, and I had joined the Kurzicks. Now it has my guild listed as the Alliance Leader. What I'm trying to do is join another guild's Kurz alliance.

There should be an option to disband the allience somewhere.

Try clicking on the guilds in your alliance and kick them all. Then you'll have no alliance and you should be able to join your friend's.

Even more specifically, my guild is the only guild IN the "Alliance".

.. yeah, I know that. If that hadn't made a problem (with it saying "This guild is already in an alliance"), I wouldn't be here with this, ne?

I think you have to try talking to the Luxon peoples in Cavalon. Something like. Whatever you did to join the Kurz, try talking to them again and/or talk to the Luxon people like you did with the Kurz. You might wanna try wiki too.

EDIT: I checked for you..
Quote:
To join the Luxon or Kurzick alliance, the guild leader needs to travel to the corresponding capital city (House zu Heltzer for Kurzick, Cavalon for Luxon.) and pay a tribute of 500 Gold to the representing ambassador.

@Stc95: I talked to the Kurz allegiance NPC again, and all it says (simplified) is "Good to have you with us", basically. And the Luxon one just tries to convert me, not break the faction with the Kurzicks.

I don't want to convert it, I want to leave it to join an existing alliance of guilds.

Well, the only problem should be is that your in a Kurz alliance, and the other alliance is Luxon. So if you switch to Luxon, it should be no problem. And if the other Alliance doesn't have an allegiance, than they are missin out on AB's and such.

If there are no other guilds in your Alliance, you should have an option somewhere to disband it. You could try clicking on the icon next to your name in your guild roster, to see if there's an option there.

There's only an option to disband the guild itself, which would make that 75k a waste. =\

I think you have to convert it in order to join.

You should just need an alliance invitation from your friends - they must send you one and then you should be able to join - no need to disband anything if you are the only guild in your alliance

You are the only one in your kurz guild. You are the only guild in your alliance. Just get an invite from your kurz friends guild or who ever is the lead guild in their alliance and you will join it.
